Program Description: This evening event is meant to spark the curiosity of youth and their families by interacting at 10 activity stations with hands-on activities. Activities will be provided by the Florida Museum education team, or by a scientist facilitator. The event will highlight topics related to our museum collections and research.
Program Logistics: The program has a duration of 90 minutes. In addition to facilitating the hands-on activities, facilitators are required to help during the set up and receive a short orientation (30min pre-event at 9:30AM) and clean-up after the event (10min). This is a morning event, and times usually fall between 10-11:30pm depending on the need of each school. Facilitators will spend much of this time standing, but chairs will be provided.
