Description
Join the Community Weatherization Coalition (CWC) to help our neighbors save money on their utility bills and make an impact on climate change!
The most utility-burdened households in Alachua County are paying as much as 22% of their monthly income on utility bills, compared to a county-wide average of four to five percent. The CWC addresses this disparity through a volunteer-based program which puts money back into the pockets of local families, while conserving 3.0 gigawatt hours of energy and over 11 million gallons of water each year.
