Although we are involved with a great deal of projects across the Museum, we’re especially proud of the planning and implementation of these highlights:

Florida Snake ID Guide

Using several years of user and accessibility data, we help strategize a complete makeover for the tool that housed the newly created information and photos provided by the herpetologists.

Fishes & Sharks Restructure

In order to better serve multiple and varied audiences, we did a deep analysis of the content and purpose of the site that was home to our Ichthyology department. As a result, we created several separate audience-tuned sites to serve the general public, media relations, and peers and other institutions. The restructure made it seamless to drop in a new resource, the easily searchable Fishes in the Fresh Waters of Florida Gallery.

Science & Research News

Our designer developed a magazine theme to offer a richer visual experience while still maintaining recognizable branding and functionality in harmony with the rest of the website.

Full Site Redesign

To coincide with our centennial, our designers fully rebranded the Museum from logo to color palette. Our digital team did a full redesign of the website, including an extensive content restructure and changed the website URL seamlessly. The web design put emphasis on being mobile friendly, accessible and data driven in all decisions.

This dovetailed with our ongoing schedule of moving the extensive website into a single multi-site CMS with broadly structured access and future-scalable strategies.

Rare, Beautiful & Fascinating: 100 Years @FloridaMuseum

In celebration of the Museum’s centennial, we offered a unique exhibit to the public featuring important and engaging objects from our collections. We published an extensive online companion exhibit with original content, photos and audio recordings of our scientists speaking about each object as an accompanying guide to the physical exhibit.
